Murat Aksu is a Founding Partner of ASC Law. Murat Aksu – along with the firm’s other two Founding Partners Zeki Çalışkan and Okan Beygo, and Managing Partner Doğan Coşgun – is a key member of the most experienced, and successful, senior law firm leadership teams in Turkey. Murat Aksu has practiced law for over 30 years and is one of Turkey’s most well-known lawyers, with extensive networks in Turkey and abroad, as well as being one of ASC Law’s primary rainmakers.
Murat Aksu spends the majority of his time working with all three of ASC Law’s legal teams, i.e., the Consultancy, Litigation and Debt Collection & Enforcement Teams. He also chairs the Consultancy Team’s key Foreign Clients and Project Development Sub-Team, which advises local and foreign clients with regard to cross-border investment into Turkey – whether by way of local project development or the financing of the same.
Murat Aksu also serves as: (i) President of National Paralympic Committee of Turkey; (ii) President of Turkey Handicapped Sports, Education and Assistance Foundation; (iii) Vice President of Turkish Football Federation and (iv) Board Member of the website design, development and hosting start-up Türk Ticaret·Net. Murat Aksu is an important figure in the Turkish sports world in his own right, having once been a candidate for presidency of his beloved Beşiktaş Sport Club, aka “BJK,” and having served as a Board Member of the Turkish Football, Ski and Boxing Federations.
